Responsibilities:
You will perform routine and complex dental procedures on patients according to their oral health needs and cosmetic concerns. The Associate Dentist’s responsibilities include developing suitable treatment plans for patients, keeping an accurate record of all appointments, diagnoses, and treatments, as well as answering patients’ questions. You should also be able to oversee the work of the technical and administration staff. To be successful as an Associate Dentist, you should be able to effectively use all dental instruments and equipment.
Associate Dentist Responsibilities:
- Examining patients’ teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues.
- Utilizing X-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations.
- Providing dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity, and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers.
- Administering local anesthesia to patients as needed.
- Educating patients on good oral hygiene practices and advising them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures.
- Performing oral cancer screenings.
- Prescribing antibiotics and pain medications to patients as required.
- Ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized before each use.
- Taking impressions of patients’ mouths for the fabrication of customized mouthguards and dentures.
Associate Dentist Requirements:
- Doctor of dental surgery (DDS) or doctor of medicine in dentistry (DMD).
- State license to practice dentistry.
- CPR certification.
- The ability to use various dental instruments and equipment.
- The ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

Registered Dental Assistant
We are looking to hire an Elite Registered Dental Assistant to join our incredible team!
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Lead, the Dental Assistant will serve various duties that will be assigned accordingly by the Clinical Lead. They will assist the Dentist with the various clinical procedures. The Dental Assistant will also adhere to current infection control procedures. They will prepare instruments and materials; clean/sterilizes and maintains functioning instruments and equipment. Greets patients in the waiting area and escorts patients to the operatory. Reviews and records medical/dental history and vital signs of patient as needed. Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments. Assists with various procedures, which include but are not limited to charting, taking and pouring up of impressions, and other chair-side duties. Stocks operatories and necessary dental supplies.
Dental Hygienist
As a Dental Hygienist at Smile Dailey Dental, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our patients’ oral health. Your primary responsibilities will include performing routine cleanings, educating patients on proper oral hygiene, assisting with preventive care, and working alongside our team of dentists and dental assistants to provide top-notch dental care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments
- Take X-rays and assist with diagnostic procedures
- Occasionally numb restorative patients for dentists
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Document patient treatment and progress in our dental software system
- Assist in the development and implementation of personalized patient care plans
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Work collaboratively with dentists and the dental team to deliver optimal care
- Stay current on dental hygiene trends and best practices
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Local anesthesia license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Experience with Eaglesoft and iTero digital scanning is a plus

Treatment Coordinator
Duties:
- Ensure the doctor schedule is full that were meeting our provider goals
- Direct patient communication about treatment and financials
- Follow up calls are being made on unscheduled treatment
- Work directly with 3rd party financing to help patients get the financials they need to complete treatment
- Scheduling patients using the office template to meet provider goals
- Answering the phone and be able to direct the patient with any questions they may have
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in scheduling, treatment or administrative role
- Familiarity with phone systems and electronic scheduling software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology preferred, but not required
- Knowledge with financials
